PREFERRED EQUITY

A preferred equity partner will collect typically capped returns after the mortgage is satisfied.

JOINT VENTURE

In this equity structure, the developer is the general partner and the equity partner is the limited partner with a smaller portion of ownership.

 

CO-GENERAL 

In this partnership, both the developer and equity partner act as general partners, with both being equal owners in the investment.
